So this is it…Marvel Studios have spent 11 years and used Movies, Television, Viral Series and Comics to weave a story that have had fans hooked. From the #humblebrag early days of Tony Stark right up to now where we have the Avengers (and so much more) fighting The Mad Titan Thanos, literally fighting for their lives and for the ones they love. It’s time for The Avengers to reassemble.

WARNING! This isn’t exactly a short movie. Odeon has it billed at 181 minutes (3 hours 1 minute) so I’d suggest not getting the biggest drink if you want to last the whole movie.
So…Endgame…was it good? Did Awesome Cupcake and the Teacups like it? Did I get narked because of wrappers on snacks and it was so noisy I could barely hear the movie first time I watched it? Did I wear a diaper so I could watch the movie without a toilet break (Er…no! *Looks around shiftily* I wouldn’t need to do that!)? Who lives? Who dies? Do they use the #Thanus Theory? Well… I’m not telling you, I’m not going to spoiler this movie…. I mean c’mon on guys, #DontSpoilTheEndgame right? No matter what #ThanosStillDemandsYourSilence especially when people are still going to see it.
So, as you’d imagine this movie to pretty much picked up where Infinity War left off and people are trying their best to move on from “The Snappening” where so many people lost people close to them. However, The Avengers have NOT given up (what is left). Steve is looking at all ways at trying to find ways to get people back, as are his fellow teammates. And they most certainly have a challenge ahead of them.
This movie is most certainly a roller-coaster, Awesome Cupcake went with Teacups 2 & 3 and they said they were close to tears (Cupcake said she was a “bit choked up… BUT I DON’T CRY AT MOVIES!”) and I took Teacups 4 & 5… 4 was quite emotional and 5 was quite meh and her only issue was it got a bit loud in a few places (they were also damn noisy so I saw the movie but barely heard it…). Teacup 1 went to see it by himself and he thought it was awesome and he felt teary by the end of the movie. I have gone to see it a second time with mu Father in Law (aka Yard of Ale) and we really enjoyed it and he can’t wait for the release on Blu-Ray (and finally on this viewing I could concentrate on the movie fully and hear everything properly…huzzah!). The movie certainly has got its emotional points which will have people laughing, crying, smiling and going “YES!”
We sadly have the final Stan Lee cameo in this movie. This a real brief one (seems a lot more brief than usual but that might just be me) but it was quite sweet. We miss you Smilin’ Stan….Thanks for the legacy you helped co-create and thanks for the great movie cameos over the years. Excelsior! Nuff said.
Now about the credits…you may well have heard there is no mid or end credit scene. This is indeed true, however without giving too much away there is an audio snippet right at the end of the credits. Also, the credits showing the main characters of the cast are very well done, look really good in my opinion.
Also, those good people at ODEON Cinemas are giving away posters again! This is the one I got (at time of writing there was no more copies of the posters as they went damn fast, truly amazing pieces, props to Matt Ferguson for yet another epic poster for the Odeon cinema goers!):

So, we now have one movie left and we end Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s been one heck of a ride, and this one is most certainly one for the Blu-Ray collection (mind you so are all the other Marvel movies in my opinion). I doubt it will happen officially but I hope that there is a cut of Infinity War and Endgame made as one big movie. Yes, I’m aware this is a movie that would be bordering 6 hours (especially if deleted scenes were added) but it would most certainly be worth it!
So, is it worth watching? If you have been watching the rest of the saga, then yes. If you are a Marvel fan yes. If you like movies, yes….. Oh heck, just go see it… Just watch Infinity Wars first!
So I guess the question now is who’s going to be the next big bad guy now? It’s unlikely to be X-Men or Fantastic Four related as Fox properties are unlikely to be used for a while.
Avengers: Endgame is Rated 12A and is cinemas now in RealD 3D, IMAX 3D, iSense 2D, IMAX 2D and 2D
