It is with a heavy heart that I write about the passing of the amazing Honor Blackman. She died aged 94 of natural causes.
Known mostly for her roles as Pussy Galore in the James Bond movie Goldfinger and Cathy Gale in the TV series The Avengers, Blackman had enjoyed a career spanning eight decades with roles on both stage and screen.
A true professional with a unique voice who didn't take herself too seriously, she achieved iconic status with absolute professionalism and total commitment to her craft.
Other movies that Honor Blackman starred in were Jason and the Argonauts, The Square Peg, To The Devil A Daughter, Cockneys vs Zombies and Bridget Jones Diary.
Quite a loss, and my favorite Bond Girl. Good night Honor Blackman, rest well.
